Applying for a Fellowship: Is this your Future in Academia?

Dr Pablo Arias-Sarah, a prior recipient of a Marie Curie Fellowship and now an academic within the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow, talked to our students about what to expect when applying for a fellowship. He covered various aspects of the process including the benefits of undertaking a fellowship, what is required to increase the chances of being awarded a fellowship, what the general eligibility requirements are for a fellowship, and the process to apply for a fellowship. Pablo also explained how one’s mindset to approaching the application process is key to success, i.e., applicants need to ‘sell’ their research, their idea(s) and their vision.
